Connect to relational database via live mode

The first thing to do before creating a report is to connect Grafieks to your SQL database or data warehouse, in case you have not already connected to your database before and saved it.

To access the data source configuration page:

1. Click on "Data Source" from the left-side menu and go to "All Data Source"   

2. Click on the "Create" button

3. Click on the "Quick Add" button and then on "New Data Source".

4. From the right side pane, click on the "Relational Database" menu and then click on the required connector

5. Enter the database credentials and click on "Next".

Adding a port number when adding database credentials is very important. The port numbers below can be referred to for your database connection.
