Grafieks Reporting Server has role-based access control. The types of roles are captured in the table below.
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Account Administrator | The owner of the Grafieks Reporting server account, known as the Account Administrator, has full access to all available actions. This includes the creation of project folders, assigning licenses and managing users, managing subscriptions, etc. There can be only one administrator for an account. |
Workspace Administrator | The person who can perform all actions like Account Administrator, except managing subscriptions. There can be multiple Workspace Administrators in an account. |
Project Leader | The Project Leader can assign groups to the project folders. Any user can be assigned this role by either Account Administrator or Workspace Administrator |
User | The user is the person who can publish workbooks and data sources from Grafieks Desktop. The user is able to perform this based on group permission. |
Viewer | The viewer can access the projects and workbooks shared with them by one of the Administrators, in read-only mode. They can’t connect to data, create, edit, or publish data sources and workbooks. |
